at the Heart of Suffolk
A charming period building, opened in 1907, Haughley village hall serves the diverse needs of the village perfectly from its central location. The facility boasts a splendid stripped sprung floor – ideal for dancing and athletic activities – a fully equipped kitchen, toilet facilities and can take a capacity of 100 in the main hall. A smaller function room is also available, and a third room – the Green Room – has recently been renovated and brought into use.
Haughley is an active, vibrant community – as evidenced by the list of regular users of the hall, including the Pre-School, Cara-Lea Dance School, Hageneth Morris Men, Haughley Hoofers Clog Dancing Team, The Women’s Institute etc etc.
Nevertheless, there are spaces in the diary available for booking for private parties and events.
